Mai is six years old in a month or so. I should post some of her baby pictures, if I can upload them from my old, old phone. Millie would’ve been the same age, if she had lived past two. I miss her; they had completely different personalities to eachother, but both adorable.

I haven’t had that thought it a while. The first was last night, because you text me. The second was a few minutes ago. I let myself imagine, and in that few seconds, I’m so, so happy. But this isn’t a fairytale. It’s not going to happen. I wasted a year of energy on trying to make it happen. It’s always going to be in the back of my mind.

I miss Switzerland. Waking up to mountains and goats with bells around their necks had to be the most peaceful thing ever. And not only that, the people are so nice. I even miss the smell of cheese that permeated the village. Maybe I’ll go back there this year.
